    CHAN 2021: Atlas Lions Pips The Hawks Of Togo

    The defending champions of the ongoing Total African Nations Championship, Morocco secured a 1-0 win over West African side Togo in Group C match opener.

    A 27th minute penalty strike by Yahya Jabrane at the Stade de la Réunification was enough for the Atlas Lions of Morocco an all but important win earlier today.

    Morocco are in search of a third trophy in this competition, winning the previous two editions.

    Jean – Paul Abalo who is in charge of the Togo dug out will guide his side into the next game against Uganda on Friday 22nd January as will Morocco face Rwanda on the same date.

    Morocco, currently sit on top of Group C in anticipation of the results between Rwanda and Uganda.
