WAFU B: Hasaacas Ladies pitted against  Nigeria’s Rivers Angels in CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers

    Ghanaian Champions, Hasaacas Ladies, have been pitted against Nigeria’s Rivers Angels FC and Niger’s AS Police de Niamey in Group B of the WAFU Zone B qualifying series of the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League.

    The WAFU Zone B qualifying series comprises  six teams split into two groups of three teams each, with the group winners progressing to the main tournament to be hosted in Morocco later this year.

    The virtual draw, which was conducted on Monday 5th July, 2021 in Abidjan, also threw  Onze Soeur (Cote d’Ivoire), USFA (Burkina Faso) and Amis du Monde (Togo) into Group A.

    The first zonal qualifiers are scheduled to be held between July 17 and 30 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
