    Afutu In Egypt To Undergo Medicals – Manager

    Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Benjamin Afutu has left Ghana for Egypt to undergo medicals according to his manager.

    Afutu, who refused to extend his contract with the club over conditions hence not part of the Hearts team for the continental campaign is expected to sign for an unnamed club.

    His management remains adamant to mention the club, where the player will be undertaking the medicals.

    His camp, however, noted that, the decision for the delay in signing of a contract with Hearts was the impending trip to Egypt.

    According to the management of Afutu, they have not signed any deal with Hearts nor any club outside the country.

    On whether they will return to Hearts should the Egypt deal fails, the management noted that it would be communicated to Hearts afterward.
