2020 WCQ: Black Stars to begin camp on May 20

    The Black Stars of Ghana will begin in earnest their preparations for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers on May 20 with squad camping in Europe.

    This is from a published schedule by the Ghana Football Association ahead of the qualifiers which is scheduled to commence in June.

    The Black Stars are expected to begin camp in Europe on May 20 and end on June 2, just 2 days ahead of their first qualifier against Ethiopia in Ghana.

    The schedule also comprises the team’s preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon. 

    The Black Stars have been tasked by H.E President Akufo-Addo to win the Africa Cup of Nations trophy and also make a semi final berth of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
