Boehly Chelsea Takeover To Be Completed This Week?

According to multiple media reports, Chelsea are confident that Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital’s takeover of the club will be completed in the coming week.

Couple of weeks ago, the Boehly-led consortium reached an agreement to purchase Chelsea FC and media reports from several outlets suggest that the deal is on schedule to be completed before the end of the month as expected.

According to Ben Jacobs, Chelsea are confident of confirming the takeover in the ensuing week. Officials describe the process as being ‘on track’, while plans are also being instituted to align the club’s various sponsors as far as the official announcement is concerned.

Boehly, it is reported, intends to hold further talks with Thomas Tuchel and Emma Hayes concerning their plans for the summer.
